Bankwell Sponsors 1st Annual New Canaan Pops in the Park Concert

Bankwell is proud to be the lead sponsor of the 1st annual New Canaan Pops in the Park, a summer concert, being held on Father’s Day, June 19th in Waveny Park from 6-8pm.

Spearheaded by New Canaan resident, Doug Kerridge, the Pops in the Park Committee is presenting a free outdoor concert with a performance by the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra. Inspired by the summer concerts conducted by the New York Philharmonic and the Boston Pops, it will be a fun and educational musical event, with concertgoers on lawn chairs and blankets enjoying an evening of music together.

Doug Kerridge, who is leading the New Canaan committee organizing the event, said "We're very excited to be partnering with Bankwell as our lead sponsor for the inaugural New Canaan Pops in the Park concert in June. Bankwell's early and very generous support helped ensure that this will become a reality for the entire New Canaan community.”
