Battle Of The Bands Event Postponed In New Canaan
An event spokesperson said the third annual event at Gates Restaurant was rescheduled "due to band members contracting COVID-19."
NEW CANAAN, CT — Gates Restaurant's third annual "Battle of the Bands" competition, originally scheduled for Saturday night, has been postponed to Feb. 12.
In an email, an event spokesperson said the postponement was "due to band members contracting COVID-19."
In place of the competition Saturday, the band Rock Paper Soul will play a regular gig at the restaurant beginning at 9 p.m.

Competing in the postponed competition will be:
- Mind The Gap
- All Night Thing
- Grandpa Moses
Battle of the Bands will be held at Gates Restaurant, a live music venue located on Forest Street in New Canaan.

Fifty percent of all ticket sales from the event will go to Meals on Wheels in New Canaan.
