Amy Murphy, also a New Canaan resident, who heads up NCC’s Business Engagement and Career Advancement effort says, “Real world work opportunities, which connect our students directly with businesses in Fairfield County are a win-win. Our students have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom and our local businesses realize the exceptional resources we have at NCC, particularly with our PTK Honor Society students. We can’t thank BCM Media enough for providing this opportunity. “
McKenna will also be participating in New Canaan High School’s internship program this spring and plans to become a mentor for the Human Services Council’s, Norwalk Mentor program next fall.

BCM Media recently celebrated 3 years in business. Brenda McKenna, founder and managing director says, “We’ve accomplished a lot in a short period of time”.
The agency partnered with Matt Lukens, a Google certified specialist with over 15 years of experience and excellent performance ratings. Matt works daily with both conversion focused and brand building campaigns including search and display networks, remarketing and social media. Matt’s expertise is helping their clients transition into different digital platforms and assessing analytics for the best return on investment. Lukens says, “We believe in keeping our focus on performance, building solid relationships and meeting client’s goals.”
McKenna has been in the adverting field for over 25 years working with Fortune 500 companies at major agencies. She started BCM Media, when the firm she was with folded and the clients asked if she would continue to work with them.
McKenna says, “The media landscape is vast and changing rapidly, and we recognize we can’t be expert in all areas, so what we’ve done is develop a preferred list of partners we collaborate with based on our client’s needs. The business model is simple and a win-win for clients because we don’t carry high overhead like other media firms. There are no hidden surprises, when you meet us we are the people you work with on a day-to-day basis. We also don’t take media commissions so you can feel confident knowing what we recommend are the best media solutions.”
