A bear sighting was reported in New Canaan Thursday morning.
The bear was seen in the area of Route 123 and Hoyt Farm, according to Capt. Vincent DeMaio’s Twitter account.
DeMaio advised residents to be aware and to watch for children or pets.

Police searched the area, but didn’t locate the bear, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
