A number of bobcat sightings have been reported in New Canaan recently.
One of the cats was spotted on Dogwood Lane, according to the New Canaanite. It was the fifth sighting of a bobcat in town in the past three weeks.
Bobcats breed in February and March and that could be a reason behind the more prevalent sightings.
