Boy, 17, Arrives at New Norwalk Road Home to Find it Burglarized

Thousands of dollars worth of items were stolen.

A 17-year-old arrived at his family’s home on New Norwalk Road on Wednesday, Dec. 3 and found the front door forced open and many items missing from the house.

New Canaan police were told someone was last in the home at 9 a.m. that day. The boy arrived back home at 1:30 p.m.

It was unclear from the report whether or not this listing of stolen jewelry was from one of the two jewelry boxes mentioned above: $2,000 worth of jewelry: four rings (worth $1,100), earrings, necklaces and a couple of bracelets
