Brian Williams Criticized for 'Plowed Over' Comment
Williams of New Canaan found himself in the negative spotlight again after a poor choice of words following the France terror attack.

Brian Williams is once again in the bad spotlight after a slip-up after his coverage of the Nice, France terror attack.
Williams was about to pass over coverage to Chris Matthews when he said, “We have just plowed over the normal-hour airtime of Chris Matthews tonight because of this confluence of breaking news.”

A truck drove through a crowd as the country celebrated Bastille Day. The attack killed 84 people and left dozens more wounded.

Williams was suspended in 2015 and effectively demoted to MSNBC after he embellished recollections of some of his assignments.
