This fun and engaging camp led by experienced music educators teaches acting skills, movement, how to bring characters to life and develop stage presence while building confidence. Students will learn and perform songs, scenes and dances in small break out groups and one large group altogether to create a show.
Themed daily art projects will include prop decorating and designing poster boards, followed by movement activities &amp; fun games. Each session ends with a performance for family &amp; friends on Friday! (12:30pm Friday for Golden Camp: Celebrating Kpop Demon Hunters, 2pm Friday for Movie Musicals).
There will be also be an additional week of camp featuring a different theme:

New Canaan Country School

Spirit Squad Summer Camp, in partnership with the nationally ranked Sacred Heart University Dance Team and NC Dance Clinics, will be held August 5–7 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at New Canaan Country School. Open to dancers entering grades 1–8, the three-day camp gives campers the chance to learn from Division I college dancers and coaches while improving their skills in pom, jazz, and hip hop. Campers will work on technique, including turns, jumps, kicks, flexibility, and across-the-floor progressions, take part in team-building activities, and get an inside look at what it’s like to be on a college dance team.
