Celebrate Holy Week at the United Methodist Church of New Canaan: Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday Tenebrae, Good Friday, Easter Sunday,
Holy Week is a special time at the United Methodist Church of New Canaan. All are invited to worship, reflect and give thanks at the many services and opportunities provided throughout the week.
Palm Sunday is April 9 and worship begins at 10 a.m.
A Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service is planned for April 13 at 7:30 p.m. The Tenebrae Service captures the events of Holy Thursday and Good Friday, beginning with communion and moving through the Passion Narrative. Candles are extinguished as the story is told.

Stop by anytime between noon and 9 p.m. on April 14 for the Good Friday Prayer Vigil. Scripture will be read on every hour and half-hour, followed by time for personal prayer and reflection; the prayer vigil will be held in the soft lighting of the sanctuary.
Easter Sunday is April 16. Worship service begins at 10 a.m. The Sunday School's Lenten mission concludes on Easter Sunday, which is to raise money to buy rabbits through Heifer International for needy families around the world. To celebrate the culmination of this mission, all children will be treated to a rabbit petting zoo following Easter worship.
