Fans of Chicken Joe’s on Elm Street will be closing shop Sunday.
Owner and New Canaan resident Jay Greco said high rent and a tough parking situation are the primary reasons, according to the New Canaanite.
The New Canaan football team was a big supporter of the restaurant, Greco said.

Chicken Joe’s opened in spring 2010. Its menu includes fried chicken, wraps and sandwiches among other items.
