Christopher Shannon Crowley, 50; Clothing Company Founder, New Canaan Resident

Christopher Shannon Crowley, of New Canaan, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, Oct. 10, 2014. He was 50.

Christopher was born in Valencia, Venezuela on Nov. 22, 1963 to Wendy (Wilson) Crowley and Michael James Crowley of San Marino, Ca. He grew up in San Marino and graduated from the University of the Pacific. He went on to a career in fashion and was the founder and creative director of Maker & Company.

Along with his parents, Christopher is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Moss) Crowley, and his children, Wilson Compton Crowley and Addison Grace Crowley, also of New Canaan, and his sister, Erin Duff Crowley of Pasadena Ca.

A memorial service will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 111 Oenoke Ridge Rd., New Canaan, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18.
