Open to the Public: Get a head start on your essay this summer. One of many courses at Summer at St. Luke's

“In five days I was able to conquer one of the biggest hurdles in the [college] application process long before senior year had even started.” -Former rising senior regarding the College Essay Writing Workshop
Can you imagine starting senior year of high school with the dreaded college essay almost ready to go? St. Luke’s School is offering the College Essay Writing Workshop (June 25-29) open to any rising high school senior. With a small student-teacher ratio (5 to 1 maximum), participants in this one-week workshop will:
- Create a stronger college essay by providing focused instruction, personalized feedback, and a generous head start on the essay writing process.
- Enhance mastery of written English including use of narrative inquiry (stories, journals, interviews) to convey ideas and advance arguments.
There will be group work, one-to-one interactions, and the opportunity to work with each instructor. By the end of the workshop, students will head into summer with their essays well underway and the confidence that comes with higher-level writing skills benefiting students across senior year, college, and beyond.
