Colleges Visit St. Luke's School
St. Luke's juniors and seniors meet with many college representatives from around the country and abroad.
Seventy-one. That’s the number of colleges and universities St. Luke's School had visit in one week as representatives from the various schools met with interested juniors and seniors. Small informational sessions were held with each school which allowed the students to learn more and ask questions. St. Luke’s College Counseling Director Sonia Bell, Associate Director Stephen Vehslage and College Counselor Kate Parker-Burgard helped host all the visiting schools. Sonia Bell said, “The students are always very respectful and pose thoughtful questions. It makes me so proud when the college representatives share with me that St. Luke’s has ‘such great kids’.”
Throughout the year, at least 150 colleges from Scotland, France, Ireland, California, Texas, Canada, Minnesota, Colorado, Missouri, Florida, New England and a host of other states will visit St. Luke’s School as seniors decide which school is the best fit for them.
