Coming This Weekend: New Canaan's Halloween Parade

Bring the kids in costumes for the annual parade through town.

Come meet at the Park Street Parking lot behind Elm Street on October 25 for the annual Halloween parade.

It kicks off with a family party in the Park Street Parking lot at noon Sunday.

Come get your free goody bag show off your costume and enjoy a performance by the School of Rock, get a balloon animal made for you courtesy of Toddlertime Nursery School, enter Venture Photography’s Best Dresses Contest The Parade starts promptly at One O’Clock and marches down Elm street where many merchants will be out in front of their stores offering sweet treats to the Trick or Treaters!

Ghosts, goblins, fairy princesses and superheroes of all ages are invited to participate. Grandparents and residents are invited to cheer on the marchers and take lots of pictures of the various, sometimes wholly original, characters.

One of New Canaan’s most popular events is the Annual Halloween Parade. Leading the parade will be the Old Faithful Antique Fire Truck and the cast of NCHS’s Production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
