Community Performance of a New Family Musical

Magical Music for Life Foundation will be presenting a performance of its new family musical, ”A Day in the Life of a Child:  Musical Revue”, in support  of Arts for Healing on Saturday March 5th at 2:00 at New Canaan Country School.  This heartwarming new musical is both all-inclusive and interactive.  The songs following a day in the life of a young child and re engaging for children and parents alike.  The show brings to life Magical Music’s “A day in the Life of a Child” album, their first album of songs developed with music therapists and other specialists for children with autism and special needs, as well as all children through elementary age.  Like Magical Music’s previous shows, this show has fun lyrics and catch tunes that both educate and entertain. Some of the reviews of the music and show have included:  “The performance was amazing!  Your cast was spectacular. Our kids were mesmerized.”  (Program Director for Country Children’s Center) and “Our children thoroughly enjoyed the show.  The young performers in the cast made it such fun.”  (A Mom at the library debut of the show).

Karen Nisenson, founder/director of Arts for Healing, an organization that provides music, art and dance therapy for individuals and groups of children, teens and adults with special needs throughout Fairfield County, said of the music, “With clever lyrics and great melodies, these songs hold the Magic of Music in the way they bring important skills to every every child.”

There will be an opportunity to meet and greet the cast after the show.
