A former Metro-North Rail Commuter Council member will give a talk at the Senior Men's Club about the railway.

Former CT Metro-North Rail Commuter Council member and Chairman Jim Cameron will address people at the Senior Men’s Club of New Canaan about the rail lines issues over the past few years.

“My talk is entitled ‘Metro-North: From First to Worst’ and chronicles the rapid decline in what was once a safe and on-time railroad,” he said. “I try to explain why things went so bad so fast, what’s being done to address those problems and what the prospects are for improved service.”

Cameron served for 19 years on the council and spent four of them as chairman.
