Connecticut Snow Totals, Town-By-Town UPDATED 1/31/17

Parts of Connecticut saw more than 4 inches of snow Tuesday. While it's not close to a record-breaker in terms of accumulation, it did cause a large number of accidents.

State police responded to 336 traffic accidents and 134 motorist assists between 10 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday morning. There were a few highway closures yesterday as motorists spun out of control.

The National Weather Service still says there is a chance of snow on Super Bowl Sunday, but currently the odds are less than 50 percent. We'll continue to update the forecast as we get closer to the big game.

Below are unofficial snow totals from across the state that were collected by the National Weather Service and Connecticut Department of Transportation.

Fairfield County

• Monroe: 3 inches as of 7 p.m.
• Danbury: 2.5 inches as of 7 p.m.
• Bridgeport: 2.5 inches as of 7 p.m.
• New Fairifeld: 2.5 inches as of 5:30 p.m.
• Newtown: 2.1 inches as of 5:02 p.m.
• Easton: 2 inches as of 5:30 p.m.
• New Canaan: 2 inches as of 5 p.m.
• Wilton: 2 inches as of 2:45 p.m.
• Norwalk: 1.5 inches as of 3:45 p.m.
• Darien: 1.5 inches as of 5 p.m.

Middlesex County

• Clinton: 3.5 inches as of 3 p.m.
• Old Saybrook 2.8 inches as of 7 p.m.
• Haddam: 2.3 inches as of 7 p.m.

New Haven County

• Cheshire: 4.1 inches as of 9 p.m.
• Hamden: 3.6 inches as of 9 p.m.
• Milford: 3.2 inches as of 5:45 p.m.
• Madison: 3 inches as of 5:30 p.m.
• North Haven: 3 inches as of 5:41 p.m.
• Wolcott: 2.9 inches as of 5:06 p.m.
• New Haven: 2.8 inches as of 7 p.m.
• West Haven 2.8 inches as of 8:24 p.m.
• Beacon Falls: 2.3 inches as of 7 p.m.
