Connecticut Snow Totals, Town-By-Town, 2/9/17 (Final Update)
And of course more snow is in the forecast for Friday night. Here's the latest on how much to expect.

Up until Thursday it's been a relatively quiet winter in Connecticut when it comes to snowfall, but that changed in a hurry today. Much of the state received nearly a foot of snow, and some places saw 15 inches, according to the state Department of Transportation. (See below for full town-by-town snow accumulation totals).
And guess what, there's more snow on the way Friday night and into Saturday morning. The good news is that this is strictly a nuisance snow, and NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan says he is predicting 1-3 inches of snow late Friday and into early Saturday. But do we really want any more snow after shoveling out from under a foot of snow today?
Parts of the state experienced the relatively rare phenomenon of thundersnow Thursday. From 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. State Police troopers responded to 105 crashes and 553 spin-outs/stuck vehicles on state highways.

The National Weather Service says for Thursday night it's going to be very cold with temps near 10 on the coast and in the single digits. Friday is also very cold with temps in the low to mid 20s, and between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. snow is expected to develop.
Snow will end early Saturday in southern Connecticut, and it could linger into the early afternoon in northern Connecticut.
