Could Mike And The Mad Dog Reteam? 'Never Say Never,' Says New Canaan's Chris Russo

The Mad Dog opined on the possibility during a recent sports broadcasting panel discussion at the Greenwich Library.

GREENWICH, CT -- I can only imagine how many times he is asked this, but on Sunday, June 4, during a panel discussion on sports broadcasting, Chris "Mad Dog" Russo told the audience that he could envision a reunion with his former sports talk radio partner, Mike Francesa, reports the New Canaan News.

"Never say never," the New Canaan resident reportedly said while speaking at the Greenwich Library. If or when such a reunion might happen, however, is anyone's guess.

Russo and Francesa were a legendary team for 19 years until 2008. ESPN’s “30 for 30” sports documentary series chronicles the pairing in the film "Mike and the Mad Dog," which was screened at the library on Sunday. Newsday writes that the documentary is scheduled to air on ESPN on July 13.
