CT Investigative Journalist Out Of Network News Job: Report

He is leaving several months after a suspension.

NEW CANAAN, CT — Brian Ross, a New Canaan resident and longtime investigative journalist for ABC News, is leaving the network, writes Page Six and media reports.

The move comes less than a year after Ross was suspended by the network for an erroneous report about former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. Ross was suspended for a month without pay for the report, which incorrectly said Flynn had been instructed by President Donald Trump to approach the Russians.

Page Six reports that Ross' longtime executive producer, Rhonda Schwartz, also is leaving ABC.
