Deli Owner Tops Shop with a Side of Trump
We know who Santo Silvestro is supporting for President.

The owner of New Canaan’s Veggie Barn wants you to know, loud and clear, who he is supporting for President of the United States.
Santo Silvestro recently had the name “Trump” painted in large, block letters on both sides of the pitched roof at the Cross Street deli, reports the Stamford Advocate.
“I’m not happy with the status quo. Some people like the sign, and others don’t and maybe I have a little different way of expressing myself,” Silvestro told the Advocate. “Whether it is Carly Fiorina, Donald Trump, or Ben Carson people are tired of do-nothing politicians.”

Silvestro admitted that while he generally supports Trump, one of 17 Republican candidates for President, he’s not behind The Donald’s staunch anti-immigration stance.
And while Silvestro believes the sign is a simple declaration of his First Amendment rights, he said he would take it down if he’s found to have violated any zoning laws.
