Drunken Man Busted After Publicly Urinating At Gas Station: PD

The incident occurred at a Mobil station on South Avenue in New Canaan.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 26-year-old Port Chester, NY man was arrested on a charge of second-degree breach of peace Tuesday night after New Canaan police said he urinated inside the convenience store at a Mobil gas station on South Avenue in New Canaan.

Henry Ramos Sanchez, of Willet Street, was arrested at a nearby intersection soon after the 11:35 p.m. incident.

According to police, officers were called to the station after Sanchez urinated inside the store.

"In addition it was reported that Sanchez had also urinated on a vehicle that was parked in the parking lot area of the gas station," police wrote in a statement. "Arriving officers located Sanchez at the intersection of Park Street and Elm Street. Sanchez appeared intoxicated as he had an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath, he could not keep his balance and his words were slurred upon speaking with investigating officers."

Sanchez was taken into custody and issued a misdemeanor summons. He was released on a promise to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Aug. 1.
