Dunning Stadium Turf Resurfacing Planned

Officials in New Canaan plan to resurface the turf this year.

Officials are planning to resurface the turf at Dunning Stadium during the summer.

The turf is now 11-years-old, which is older than the expected 10-year life expectancy, according to the New Canaanite.

Seams in need of repair have been spotted on the turf.

New Canaan High School Athletic Director Jay Egan said that the Ram Spirit Fund is looking to install a next-generation infill that while more expensive is also the most safe surface for athletes.
