Eat Your Way Through New Canaan

Join the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce as they partner with Taste Tours and CTbites to offer a series of special evenings. Sold out in July, the Taste Tour series continues every Tuesday and Wednesday through Aug. 27.

Enjoy four of the top restaurants in New Canaan for $65 per person.

One seating of 6:30 p.m. begins the tour to four top restaurants in New Canaan center.

Here is how Taste Tours describes their event:

The inaugural Taste Tour will focus on Elm Street restaurants; Elm Restaurant, Picador, Chef Luis, and South End and includes four courses of summer snacks and bites, appetizer, entree and dessert.

The self-guided walking tour allows for up to 30 minutes in each of the four-featured restaurants and less than five minutes walking to your next destination.

The tours are limited to 12 attendees to insure both superior quality in food and service.

The $65 price includes the four courses, tax and gratuity, but beverages are extra and may be purchased at each location.

Menu items may include:

ELM RESTAURANT - Summer snacks and bites
PICADOR- Choice of one:Tostadas, Fried Calamari, Brussel Sprouts and/or Chicken Croquettes
CHEF LUIS - Shrimp Sausage Jambalaya with Chef Luis twist
SOUTH END - S’Mores Pie, vanilla ice cream

PLEASE NOTE: This is a self-guided tour. Attendees will be sent a confirmation package the day before including sample menu for each restaurant to give you a “taste” of what’s in store, and a printable map of New Canaan.
Chefs reserve the right to change menu items based on availability of ingredients the day of the tour.
