Exciting News for Mead Park Playground in New Canaan!

Friends of Mead Park Playground is raising funds for the purpose of providing a thoughtfully renovated playground that better meets the recreational, social and developmental needs of children in our community.We encourage a space that empowers children to have meaningful and accessible play, regardless of ability. There will be an access ramp and special play equipment that accommodates mobility devices. Also, we will say goodbye to wood chips in favor of a flat, smooth, rubberized surface.

We are committed to our mission of reinventing Mead Park Playground as a play space of inclusivity, thoughtful design and engaging play.
