Fairfield County Communications Veterans Relaunch Boutique Consultancy Focused on Nonprofit Organizations

Fairfield County communications professionals Courtney Galvan and Cheryl Pellegrino have officially relaunched CC PR, a boutique strategic communications consultancy serving nonprofit and mission-driven organizations throughout the region.

Originally founded in 2019, CC PR was put on pause when Galvan accepted the role of Director of Marketing and Communications at Person to Person, one of Fairfield County’s leading nonprofits. During her tenure, she led the organization’s fundraising and communications efforts, developed donor-facing campaigns and materials, supported major events, and helped shape strategic messaging across the organization.

Now, Galvan and Pellegrino are relaunching CC PR with a refined focus on helping nonprofits strengthen communications, increase visibility, and drive fundraising results.

“My experience working in-house at a nonprofit gave me firsthand insight into the challenges organizations face and the level of strategic support they need,” said Galvan. “We understand how to develop communications that not only tell an organization’s story, but advance its mission and fundraising goals.”

CC PR provides senior-level strategic communications support to nonprofit organizations seeking expert guidance without the overhead of a full-time in-house team or working to support existing staff. Services include fundraising campaign strategy, messaging development, donor communications, media relations, content creation, community engagement, event promotion, and strategic communications counsel.

Together, Galvan and Pellegrino bring more than 25 years of experience each in public relations, marketing, media relations, and strategic communications. Their backgrounds include work at leading national agencies and across a broad range of industries, paired with deep local nonprofit expertise.

Since relaunching, CC PR has partnered with a select group of nonprofit clients including Inspirica, Kids Helping Kids, Breast Cancer Alliance, New Canaan Library, and Darien EMS–Post 53. Most recently, the firm led Post 53’s 2025 annual appeal campaign, helping generate a 33 percent increase in donations through a coordinated, multi-channel fundraising strategy.

“We’ve both spent decades building our careers, and this chapter feels especially meaningful,” said Pellegrino. “We are excited to help nonprofit organizations communicate more effectively, raise more support, and further their missions.”
