Family Centers' Titan Speaker Series to Host Suzy and Jack Welch
The speaker series benefits the Family Centers' programs in Greenwich, Stamford, Darien and New Canaan.

Family Centers’ Titan Speaker Series will continue Wednesday, April 15 with former General Electric (GE) Chairman and CEO Jack Welch and his wife, Suzy, as the latest speakers.
The event will be held at 7:30 a.m., at the Hilton Hotel, 1 First Stamford Place in Stamford.
Family Centers’ Titan Speaker Series brings America’s greatest leaders to Fairfield County for intimate discussions. Previous speakers have included Dr. Henry Kissinger, former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker and former CIA Director Jack Devine.

In addition to providing their unique perspectives on business and leadership, the Welches will discuss their latest book, The Real-Life MBA: Your No-BS Guide to Winning the Game, Building a Team, and Growing Your Career. The book is a guide for business that explores the pressing challenges related to creating winning strategies, leading and managing others and building a thriving career.
Tickets start at $100, and proceeds will support Family Centers’ programs that provide counseling and support to families and individuals experiencing a crisis.

Under Jack Welch’s direction, GE became the world’s most valuable corporation and was consistently voted the most admired company in the world by Fortune magazine. Since 2001, Welch has been active in private equity and consulting, and founded the Jack Welch Management Institute. In 2014, he was named to CNBC’s Top 10 “Rebels, Icons and Leaders” of the past 25 years.
Suzy Welch is a best-selling author, television commentator and business journalist. She is spent several years at management consulting firm Bain & Company, served as editor of the Harvard Business Review and wrote a work-life column for O: The Oprah Magazine.
Family Centers is a private, nonprofit organization offering education and human services to children, adults and families in Fairfield County. More than 3,000 professionals and trained volunteers work together to provide a wide range of responsive, innovative programs. Family Centers partners with the United Way, Community Fund of Darien and New Canaan Community Foundation.
