Former Silver Hill Counselor Opens Psychotherapy Practice in New Canaan

Warren Lancaster opened his private practice on Park Street.

Former senior residential counselor at Silver Hill Hospital Warren Lancaster has opened his new practice in New Canaan.

The practice, WJL Psychotherapy is located at 72 Park St. He will also be available for counseling sessions at home or work places.

Lancaster specializes in counseling business executives in recovery or facing other problems.

“High-performers in fast-paced professions, faced with significant personal challenges, have particular needs, whether they work in finance, law, publishing and media, technology, pharmaceuticals, real estate, or another demanding career,” Lancaster said.

Lancaster is a former senior executive in the pharmaceutical industry and said he has both clinical experience and business leadership experience that helps him with his clients.

He worked for several years at Silver Hill in a number of capacities, most recently as the senior residential counselor in the hospital’s transitional living program. He has been a New Canaan resident since 1997 and his sons graduated from New Canaan High School in 2012.
