Future of Outback Teen Center Building Up in the Air

A full inspection has been ordered and town officials will determine its future.

New Canaan, CT- The future of the building that once housed the Outback Teen Center is being debated.

First Selectman Robert Mallozzi called for inspection of the entire building, according to the New Canaanite.
He said the future would depend on the inspection and he would talk with the Town Council and Board of Finance about how to best use the building.

The building is oddly configured, but has a central location in town.
The teen center closed about a year ago and the non-profit that ran it eventually folded after it couldn't raise money or convince the town to help support it.
