Glass House Seeks Larger Events

The organization wants to allow up to 400 people at the property for events.

NEW CANAAN, CT- The Philip Johnson Glass House organization has applied to allow larger group functions at the historic property.

The organization wants to have events to allow between 150 to 400 people for events instead of the current 50 to 250 people, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.

The Glass House doesn't hold weddings or bar mitzvahs at the property after coming to an agreement with neighbors.

Special corporate tours would be limited to 150 people and the number of attendees at the single annual fundraiser would allow between 250 and 400 people, according to the New Canaanite.

Officials with the organization said that expanding operations will hep it fund capital maintenance and improvements on the 49-acre campus that has 14 structures, according to the New Canaanite.
