GoFundMe Page Created For Family Of Boy Killed In Driveway Crash
Lucas McGee, 23 months, was struck and killed by a vehicle in a New Canaan driveway accident on Dec. 10.
NEW CANAAN, CT — A GoFundMe page has been created to assist the McGees, the New Canaan family whose 23-month-old son, Lucas, was killed in a driveway accident in New Canaan earlier this week.
As of Dec. 13, the page had raised more than $20,000 from 181 donors, well above the $5,000 the organizers originally sought.
"With enormous gratitude for the outpouring of love, we have created this page to support the McGee family by contributing for meals and activities for the kids during these incredibly challenging weeks ahead," the organizers wrote.

Services for Lucas, who was known as "Lukey," are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in New Canaan, according to his obituary.
