Guide to New Canaan 4th of July Event

Editor’s note: We previously ran this story, but are running it again in case you missed it during the week.

New Canaan will hold its 35th annual Fourth of July Celebration on July 4 at Waveny Park.

Late day activities include family picnicking, live music, children’s games, a food court and a fireworks display.

Event passes are necessary to enter either by parking or walking and can be purchased online here or at he Recreation Department office.

The park opens to the public at 5 p.m. and the fireworks display will be around 9 p.m.
