A $20,000 grant from the Foundation will support the High School Program, which seeks to mitigate the opportunity gap experienced for up to 150 underserved students from Stamford and Norwalk a year. The tuition-free High School Program provides year-long academic and enrichment programming including Academic Coaching, SAT preparation classes, college tours, and more to help students identify their educational and career goals and graduate from high school college-ready.

Executive Director, Nancy von Euler said: “The Horizons High School program model has been shown to work as 100% of the Class of 2020 graduated from high school and have been accepted into college. We are grateful to Fairfield County’s Community Foundation for their partnership, to close the opportunity gap faced by the students we serve.”
