The Hub Comes Up With New Plan for Former Teen Center Site
The Hub is now asking for less money from the town to help support costs.
NEW CANAAN, CT- The Hub is hoping to bring Yale-New Haven Hospital into the mix for a new plan for the former Outback teen center.
The plan calls for Abilis to serve as the anchor tenant to provide services for adults with developmental disabilities. It also calls for Yale New Haven Hospital to serve as a partner and to put one or two education presentations per month, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
The Hub is asking for $10,000 per year from the town to help support costs. Other money to cover costs would come from Abilis, Silver Hill Hospital and a philanthropic gift.
