Hydrant Flushing To Take Place On Several New Canaan Roads: FD

NEW CANAAN, CT — The New Canaan Fire Department will be flushing hydrants on various roads in town Monday and residents may experience brown water for a few hours.

Fire officials said Monday morning on X the flushing will take place in the area of White Oak Shade Road, Conrad Road, Park Street, Harrison Avenue and Meadow Lane.

The flushing is intended to ensure the hydrants' operational readiness, according to fire officials.
