'Incoherent' Driver Faces DUI Charge
The woman was charged after New Canaan Police found her car blocking traffic on Old Stamford Road.

New Canaan Police arrested a 37-year-old woman on a driving under the influence charge in connection with a Sept. 10 incident on Old Stamford Road.
It was about 10:20 a.m. Sept. 10 when officers found a vehicle blocking the southbound lane with the driver in an incoherent state, according to a report in The Advertiser.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for the woman, identified as Jennifer Towne, 37, of 110 Henry St., Greenwich, who was treated at Norwalk Hospital where it was determined she was under the influence of PCP and cocaine, according to the report.

Towne was arrested Oct. 6 when she also was cited for failure to keep right, according to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website. She was released on a promise to return to state Superior Court in Norwalk on Nov. 3, according to the Judicial Branch.
