Peter Murphy, Vice Presiden of James P. Murphy & Associates, an independent insurance agency located in Norwalk, CT, will be speaking about insurance at the Business Networking International group in New Canaan on Thursday October 17 at 8 AM at Young Life located at 19 Vitti Street.
New Canaan BNI is a lively and fun group that was started by Carl Bulgini over three years ago with the mission of helping small businesses of all kinds create more abundant relationships for themselves and their communities. This group has met at Young Life every Thursday morning for over three years. Meetings begin at 7:30 AM and finish around 9 AM. Peter will be speaking about how he became an insurance agent and eventually a Vice President and how his approach is different from other insurance agencies.
Peter is responsible for all aspects of the agency including sales, managing, and development of new products and services. Peter’s main focus with his clients and prospects is to provide a thorough assessment of their insurance needs and offer a choice of insurance products to meet those needs. With access to all the major markets, Peter is able to provide multiple choices to his customers.
Outside of the insurance industry, Peter is active with the Chamber of Commerce on the Small Business Council and sits on the Board of the Human Services Council.
