Jewelry, Handbags Stolen In Burglary: New Canaan Police
Police said a patio door in back of the New Canaan home was found broken and items were reported missing by the homeowner.
NEW CANAAN, CT — Jewelry and handbags were stolen in a burglary at a New Canaan home reported Monday evening, according to police.
In a news release, Police Chief Leon Krolikowski said a resident of the White Oak Shade Road home arrived home around 5:30 p.m. and discovered a patio door in back of the house was broken.
While the home's alarm system was activated, the patio door was not alarmed, Krolikowski said.
