Jewelry Valued at Almost $60,000 Reported Stolen from Deacons Way Home
Two boxes of jewelry were discovered missing. Inside: a Harry Winston diamond bracelet and diamond-stud earrings.

Some thief in a Deacons Way home stole two wooden boxes containing some pricey, pricey jewelry:
- A Harry Winston bracelet containing several diamonds — valued at $27,500
- A pair of diamond stud earrings — valued at $30,000
- A Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch — $1,500
- A pair of antique cuff links — total value of $100
- The two boxes themselves — Smothers & Branson wooden belt boxes, total value of $60
- Five sterling silver cuff links of various styles — total value of $500
That all adds up to $59,660.
A 48-year-old woman who lives at the house was about to put some jewelry back in one of the boxes on Oct. 8 when she noticed both of them gone.

Earlier, on Oct. 3, her husband had noticed the boxes gone, but he thought his wife had moved them. The last time the wife remembers seeing the bracelet and earrings was three month ago.
The family has had workers regularly in the house. Police detectives are investigating.
