Letter To The Editor: Community Foundation Seeks Funding

Dear Editor,
The New Canaan Community Foundation currently has funding opportunities available for local
nonprofit organizations. We want to ensure that potential partners know we are here, and listening to the interests and needs of our community.

For over 40 years, we’ve invested in programs, capital projects, and the operations and growth of critical local organizations. These organizations span arts & culture; health; human services; seniors & special needs; youth & education – they’re the life-blood of our community, and we are so fortunate to invest and partner in their work.

We mobilize thoughtful grant investments, supported by many families across town, chipping in their charitable giving to have a greater impact together. Last year, our generous supporters helped us invest nearly $600,000 in local nonprofits. So that we can continue to strategically respond to local needs, we hope you’ll share our open funding opportunity with worthwhile nonprofit projects and start-up ideas.

Information on how to apply can be found at www.newcanaancf.org, and applications must be
submitted by Friday, October 4th.
