Little League Field Upgrade Pitched for Mead Park
Part of the field would be moved and new fences and other items would be added.
NEW CANAAN, CT—A non-profit that oversees youth baseball in town pitched a plan to improve fieldsat Mead Park, which would add new fences, light poles and bleacher areas.
The plan is to position Gamble Field so home plate sits where left field is currently located, according to the New Canaanite.
Plans wouldn't disturb other areas of the park and would work within the field's current scope.
