October 11th is the International Day of the Girl, which aims to highlight and address the needs and challenges girls face, while promoting girls' empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights.

LiveGirl Founder and CEO Sheri West shared, ”We believe that all girls deserve the opportunity to thrive.” West continued, “For this year’s theme - My Voice, Our Equal Future - we will bring people together and spark conversation on how we can help girls discover the power of their voices and rise as confident, inclusive leaders.”
LiveGirl is hosting a virtual celebration on Sunday, October 11th from 2-3pm via Zoom. The event will feature Myth of the Nice Girl bestselling author Fran Hauser, Corporate Playbook CEO Deb Elam, and Poetic Activist Cheyenne Tyler Jacobs. These accomplished women will be interviewed by a panel of girls. The Myth of Nice Girl book is available for purchase at Elm Street books and free copies will be raffled off during the event.
