Local Business Leaders Support New Canaan Community Foundation

The New Canaan Community Foundation will hold its annual Philanthropy Luncheon on April 30.

NEW CANAAN, CT - From New Canaan Community Foundation: On April 30th , the New Canaan Community Foundation will hold its annual Philanthropy Luncheon at Woodway Country Club. This year’s event will highlight an important local issue: behavioral health. Broadly inclusive of mental health and substance misuse, this issue touches many. By shining a light on behavioral health, the Foundation hopes to raise community awareness and help bring the topic to the forefront of conversation. Kevin Breel will be the featured speaker – a writer, comedian, activist and author of Boy Meets Depression.

This year’s luncheon is co-chaired by Annie Drapkin and Kajsa Sheibley, leading a committee of
dedicated local volunteers helping coordinate the event.

The Foundation recently gathered local business leaders that demonstrated early support for the event. Gold level corporate sponsors for this event include Bank of America Private Bank, Bankwell, and Stamford Health.
