Locust Ave. Parking Deck Gets Pre-Construction Funding, With Conditions
Money is contingent on some further approvals to assure no safety or major traffic issues will exist.

NEW CANAAN, CT- Money has been approved for pre-construction work on the proposed Locust Avenue parking deck, but it's contingent on a new traffic study's results and input from local emergency responders.

The area has a traffic study years ago to assess any foreseeable issues, but a new study was commissioned after some felt the original was incomplete, according to the New Canaanite.

The proposed project would add 89 overall spaces. Some are concerned that traffic flow would increase too much on Heritage Hill Road.
