Its the first time in nearly a decade that NCHS failed the inspection.

A major 4-point health violation was found at the New Canaan High School.
A town health department official found that chicken cutlets and chicken parmesan were being held at a temperature less than what is considered safe on Sept. 1, according to the New Canaanite.
The cafeteria passed a re-inspection on Sept. 17. The last time it failed was in 2007.
