Man Arrested After Domestic Violence Threat in New Canaan: Police

New Canaan Police arrested an 18-year-old New Canaan resident who allegedly threatened a female victim during a domestic dispute on Sunrise Avenue.

The resident was charged with second-degree threatening after an alleged dispute on July 25. The man allegedly threatened a female victim and threw glasses at her. He also said he would shoot her if he had access to a gun, police said.

He flew to Nantucket and was eventually brought back to the state and charged on August 4.
