Man With Gun Accused Of Threatening New Canaan Victim: Police
The incident occurred over the weekend at a home in New Canaan.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 33-year-old Westport man was arrested on charges of first-degree threatening and disorderly conduct on Aug. 18 after he allegedly threatened a New Canaan resident with a handgun, according to police.
Francis B. Wylie, of High Street, was taken into custody just before 10 a.m. at a Jelliff Mill Road home following the alleged incident.
Officers were called to the scene on a report of a domestic dispute and found Wylie and the victim in the driveway.

Wylie had the gun in his possession but was not holding it when officers arrived; New Canaan police said he allegedly threatened to use it. Additional details were not disclosed.
He was held in lieu of bail of $100,000 and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Aug. 20.
