Lee Calabro, 88, of New Canaan, and formerly of Lakewood, NJ, passed away on December 11, 2015 at home with her loving family by her side.
Lee was born on May 27, 1927 in New York City to the late Daniel and Anna Mercurio Sforza.

Lee was predeceased by Ronald G. Calabro, her husband of over 60 years.
She was an avid cook, loved to travel and spend time with her family.

Lena is survived by her 6 children: Lenora, Ronald, Denise, John, Chris and Robert, her 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grand-children.
She was pre-deceased by one grandchild.
Visiting hours will be held at Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St, New Canaan, on Sunday from 3 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 14, at 10 am at St. Aloysius Church, New Canaan. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River, NJ.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Lena’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
