Mixed Use Property Pitched for Park Street
A residential building in New Canaan would become mixed use if the project gets approval.
NEW CANAAN, CT- A property owner on Park Street wants to replace a small house with a mixed use retail and residential building.
The building at 121 Park Street next to Mrs. Green's would be turned into a 2-story building with 2,227 square feet for commercial use and the same amount of space split for two residential units, according to the New Canaanite.

The applicant said the building would enhance the area's character and get rid of an unsightly alley between it and Mrs. Green's.
The property would need a zone change and a special permit from Planning and Zoning.
