Mrs Green's food warehouse

Mrs Green, you may have a lovely daughter, but your store is ugly.  I checked out the new Mrs. Green's store in the old New Canaan Post Office, and while I couldn't afford to buy anything, the ambiance was a bust.  New Canaan does not need a warehouse store, but it would appear that is what we got.  The quaint Post Office has become a low slung, unappealing monolith with an oversized air conditioning complex on the roof.  Efforts were maid to mask the units with a fence, but it just accentuates the size.  Once inside, we find a narrow aisled mass of steel shelving with a floor treatment of polished cracked and poorly patched dirty concrete.  While the food may impress, and a staff of eager and well trained staff extend a friendly welcome, the over-all experience is one of an overcrowded poorly designed shopping experience.
